The government of Quebec is investing $130 million to a project
that will generate a clean source of energy for Canadians. Hydro-Quebec, Boeing,
and RER Hydro will work in unison, and utilize the funds for building the world’s
largest river generated turbine farm on the St. Lawrence River. Installation
will begin in 2016, with the goal is to install 46 riverbed turbines (generating
9 million megawatts of power).
