Today, Oracle Team USA pulled off what some would say is impossible by winning
the 34th America’s Cup over Team New Zealand. Oracle dominated and won the last 8 races in a
row to clinch the race series and solidify one of the greatest comebacks in
sporting history. Each race, the teams continued learning more about their boats and were able to push the limits of sailboat racing. The newly designed 72 ft catamarans equipped with hydrofoils (that
lifts the boats above the water) pushed speeds over 50 mph. Congratulations to Oracle Team USA for never giving up!
